This piece is part of my Broken Things series, where I take familiar everyday objects and place them in a state that feels damaged, inverted or somehow wrong. Here, an ice cream is turned upside down, with the black cone above and the magenta scoop collapsing beneath it as it melts. I’m interested in that small moment when something ordinary stops behaving the way we expect it to, and suddenly becomes strange, fragile and a little absurd.
